Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Team Velocity's website! We are a group of year 9 pupils attending Devonport High School for Boys, and are competing in the F1 in schools project. We will be updating our website weekly, inserting our portfolio, images, info about the competition and loads of other cool stuff. Also, eventually there will be a page where we will put our stuff on sale, but for that to happen we need to recieve sufficient sponsors (take note all you big companies out there!).

In a nutshell, the F1 in schools project is a competition in secondary schools all over the world, where teams of about 5 or 6 people get together to make the best Co2 powered car in the world. Each member has his/her own specific job and certain tasks to complete within a specific time. All of the completed tasks add together to make finished product/s. Last year the world champions were team Pulse from our school! They began working in year 8, so we're hoping that the year head start won't affect us.
